Out and about

In all, this is the place to go if you’re craving a simple, back to basics getaway. The village of Culworth , is 10 minutes’ walk away and has a café for all your coffee and cake needs, a butchers (that’s the barbecue ingredients sorted) and a shop. this shop produces some mighty-fine chipolatas.
 

For pints and pub meals, there’s also an 18th-century village pub with a beer garden, in the adjacent  barn you will find a sport bar..

Those who like to take in some of the history of each place they visit, you will be set here. The National Trust’s Canons Ashby, an Elizabethan manor house, is 10 minutes’ drive away and Sulgrave Manor, belonging to George Washington’s family, is five minutes’ drive away. There’s also a gorgeous village church.

if you pop  just 2 miles to the village of Eydon just on the high street ,you will find Oboe fine wine  purchase a nice bottle of red or enjoy a drink at their bar.

where you can browse lifestyle wares  and visit their cafe..

if you love animals and want to get up close why not take a visit to Arkadia Alpacas in Woodford Halse where you can take them for a walk.

Hook Norton Brewery take in a tour and taste some of the finest local beer.

A visit to Salcey forest with its treetop walk and large forest area for walking and cycling not forgetting an ice cream from the cafe.
